That was FREAKY. I think spiders are nasty. Good thing tarantulas aren't poisonous!
Can you imagine the *crunch* that emanate from that spider being squished??!!! (That's the only thing spiders are good for . . . being squished. . .) Gives me the creeps just thinking about it. *shudder*

When I was a boy living in Carbon Canyon, tarantulas were everywhere. I remember one night sitting on the floor of the front room when one began running across the rug. It was dispatched ("didying"). Every once in a while a whole herd of the things would migrate across the road to greener pastures, thousands of them. There were at least a couple of automobile acidents because of the slippery goo ("didying" x 10 to the 9th power).
Spiders are pretty interesting and rather cool.. but I still wouldn't put one on my face. Bleah.
