I am excited to listen to Conference to hear the Word of the Lord! It's an absolutely glorious October morning in the mountains.

I am excited, too! I LOVED the first session.
I was thinking about what you told me the other day, about being a mom and not having time to really read scriptures. I thought to myself, "Gee, I guess that means I can just do what I can when I can," and I stopped altogether. A scripture popped into my head, the one about not running faster than you are able, and I thought, "It doesn't say to STOP. Just to not go faster than you can." And then Elder Ucdorf talked about the very same thing! It was awesome. Hooray for Conference!
As I recall, I didn't say to just stop altogether. Au contraire! What I was trying to convey was if you don't have the time or energy for a whole chapter, then read just one verse and ponder it for your "go thou" orders for the day.
